Full-time–Brussels

We are seeking an experienced Registrar

As an important part of the gallery’s team, your role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the exhibitions at the gallery and national and international art fairs
  • Arrange the transport of artworks in cooperation with the gallery’s handling team and professional art shippers
  • Coordinate collections and deliveries at artists’ studios
  • Compile transport and production estimates and administrative follow up
  • Ensure compliance with customs formalities related to the import and export of artworks
  • Updating the database and daily maintenance of the inventory
  • Oversee artwork framing
  • Coordinate treatment and condition reports with conservation studios and archive incoming and outgoing condition reports

Your profile:

  • You have at least three years of relevant experience in logistics and transportation of artworks
  • You have experience in budget planning for projects and maintaining a financial overview
  • You can handle multiple projects simultaneously, know how to set priorities and take initiative
  • You are responsible and well organised
  • You are analytical and accurate
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English, as well as French and/or Dutch

We offer a full-time position in a dynamic and growing company active in the international art scene. Working hours are from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm, with some flexibility where necessary (e.g. during fairs).
