Joe Bradley in conversation with Melanie Deboutte

Filmed in Brussels, the artist discusses his exhibition New Paltz.

Joe Bradley and Melanie Deboutte, Director and Curator at the Roger Raveel Museum, discuss the artist’s first exhibition at the gallery, New Paltz (2022).

I don’t feel like a little drill sergeant who is ordering the paint around and bending things to my own will, it feels like it’s sort of the opposite. The paintings appear to me more or less as they appear to a stranger walking into the gallery.— Joe Bradley
