Including David Bowie’s Rock ‘n’ roll suicide (1972), Emin sits naked on a sofa, cradling her beloved cat Docket. An adored pet, she cared for the animal as one would a child. Docket was a pivotal fixture in the artist’s home life and a faithful companion in times of loneliness for almost 20 years. Over the years, Emin depicted him in numerous artworks.
