Inquire about this work

A handwritten poem and a series of monoprint drawings overlay a short film of a lonely mixed-breed dog, laying on a beach licking its own genitals. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach, further animate and eroticise the dog's motions and respond poetically to Emin's text. The film touches on themes recurrent throughout Emin’s practice, namely sex, loneliness and vulnerability.
