Xavier Hufkens is pleased to announce its participation in Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 with a curated selection of artists distinguished by current and forthcoming solo institutional exhibitions taking place around the world this year.

These include Louise Bourgeois’ solo presentations In Private View at Auckland Art Gallery in Auckland and Echo of the Morning at PoMo in Trondheim; Tracey Emin’s major exhibition A Second Life at Tate Modern in London—her largest exhibition to date—which will travel to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Copenhagen, Hoam Museum of Art in Yongin, and the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne; and Danh Vō’s exhibition πνεûμα (Eλισσα) at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Further institutional highlights include Giorgio Griffa’s major presentations marking the artist’s 90th birthday, with dedicated displays at Castello di Rivoli and GAM Torino, alongside exhibitions at the Fondazione Giorgio Griffa in Turin and Paths in the Forest at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown; Thomas Houseago’s solo exhibitions First Light at the Rubell Museum in Miami and Standing Tall at Banca March in Madrid; Joan Semmel’s exhibition In the Flesh at the Jewish Museum in New York; and Sayre Gomez’s forthcoming solo exhibition at SITE Santa Fe. Additional highlights include works by George Condo, Thierry De Cordier, Nathanaëlle Herbelin, Mark Manders, Constantin Nitsche, Qiu Xiaofei, Sterling Ruby, and Tatiana Trouvé.
