The fruit of an ongoing commitment to artistic creation, More than meets the eye brings together nearly 80 artists from sub-Saharan Africa who lived part of their lives there, covering almost a century of production (1929-2024). Paintings, sculptures, photographs: the works reveal an expressive force, blending traditions, modern aesthetics and contemporary issues.
Through this singular journey, with scenography by interior architect and designer Pierre Yovanovitch, Africa asserts itself as a major player on the world art scene.
