Reinventing Landscape
29 April 2025—18 October 2026
Group exhibition at West Bund Art Museum Project, Shanghai, China
West Bund Art Museum and Centre Pompidou have entered a new round of five-year exhibition cooperation. More than 100,000 pieces of the French National Museum of Modern Art over the past century will be carefully condensed into a series of new "art stories" and will continue to be staged at West Bund Art Museum.

The new round of cooperation will begin with the grand exhibition Reinventing Landscape, which will kick off a new round of masterpieces - the permanent exhibition trilogy "Landscape", "Reality" and "Writing". Reinventing Landscape re-examines the trajectory of artistic evolution and pioneering exploration in the past 100 years since 1906 from a new modernist perspective, inviting the audience to walk through a number of important art schools such as Fauvism, Cubism, Surrealism, and Abstractionism. While delving into the dazzling classics and pioneering works in the history of modern and contemporary art, it connects global hot topics such as the relationship between man and nature, the process of urbanization and ecological sustainability, and juxtaposes the juxtaposition of looking back on history and looking into the present, opening a rare "landscape" journey. The exhibition will be open from April 29, 2025 to October 18, 2026.
