Bringing together works on canvas and paper, the duo exhibition explores the parallel approaches of two artists who embrace painting as an open-ended process rather than an act of control. As Griffa writes, “My hand is at the service of painting.” Zhang echoes this sentiment: “My mind is empty before the canvas.”
