Bertrand Lavier (b. 1949) lives and works in Paris. In 2012, he had a major retrospective at the Centre Pompidou, Paris. Recent solo exhibitions include Bertrand Lavier, Fosun Foundation, Shanghai/Chengdu, China (2022); Bertrand Lavier, Bourse de Commerce, Pinault Collection, Paris, France (2021); Unwittingly But Willingly, Consortium, Dijon, France (2021); Medley, Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo (2018); Walt Disney Productions, Kunstmuseum Luzern (2017); Oeuvres in situ / Anémochories, Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2016).
Bernard Blistène (b. 1955) is a French curator who works and lives in Paris and has, over the years, initiated a number of important exhibitions in France and abroad. He was director of the Musée National d’Art Moderne, Centre Pompidou, Paris, from 2013 to 2021, and has been its honorary director since then. He is currently president of the French Ministry of Culture’s “New Worlds” program.
