Frieze London
14—18 October 2025
The Regent’s Park
Booth B15
Xavier Hufkens is delighted to return to Frieze London with a cross-generational presentation spanning painting, sculpture, works on paper and neon. Bringing together works made between 1982 and 2026, the presentation moves between figuration and abstraction, with recurring interests in the body, material transformation and gesture.
Highlights include Richard Serra’s large-scale St. Louis I (1982), a nearly three-metre-high work in paintstick on paper; Thomas Houseago’s monumental brass-and-concrete sculpture Red Figure (demon) (2022); and Ulala Imai’s expansive painting GATE KEEPER (2025). The booth also features new 2026 works by Mark Manders, Sterling Ruby, Esther Kläs and Lesley Vance, alongside Joan Semmel’s recent painting Shoulder to Shoulder (2025). Further highlights include Louise Bourgeois’s suite of four double-sided drawings and Tracey Emin’s neon How it Feels (2012), together with works by Huma Bhabha, McArthur Binion and Walter Swennen.
Coinciding with Frieze Week, Whitechapel Gallery presents Cecilia Vicuña: Living Threads, the artist’s first major UK exhibition. Spanning six decades, the exhibition offers an expansive view of Vicuña’s interdisciplinary practice across visual art, poetry, performance, ritual and activism.
